QNET Expands to South Africa, Aims to Boost Local Economy with Premium Product Offerings

QNET Africa continues to make waves with the opening of the QNET South Africa office in Johannesburg. The recently opened doors help us expand our presence in Africa while bringing internationally renowned products to customers, creating entrepreneurship opportunities, upskilling training for individuals, and stimulating economic growth.

The Potential of Direct Selling in QNET South Africa

According to the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations, the direct selling industry in South Africa generated over US$2.2 billion in retail sales in 2020, with over 1.7 million independent representatives actively selling products. The QNET South Africa launch is expected further to increase the growth of the direct selling industry, creating more opportunities for individuals to access unique products, earn income, and contribute to the country’s economy.

“South Africa is an important market for QNET, and we are thrilled to bring our unique and high-quality products to customers here. Having been in Africa for over 20 years now, we see a lot of growth potential and are excited to work with local partners and communities to make a positive impact in the region. We’re proud to celebrate our 25th Anniversary alongside a new milestone in South Africa and excited for QNET’s growth on the continent. We stay true to our mission of empowering people through our innovative products and creating entrepreneurial opportunities,” said QNET CEO Malou Caluza.

QNET’s Impact on Sports and Social Initiatives

As a long-term partner of the African Football Confederation (CAF), QNET has helped inspire and develop a new generation of football talent in the region. QNET’s Regional Manager for Sub-Saharan and South Africa Biram Fall said,  “With our entry into South Africa, QNET plans to leverage its global experience and products to support the development of local entrepreneurs. We also aim to create a sustainable ecosystem that benefits our customers and local communities, such as through our partnership with CAF, which provides emerging footballers across Africa a platform to showcase their talent and pursue their dreams.”

Our impact initiatives, including education, disaster relief, and environmental sustainability, demonstrate its dedication to making a difference in the world. QNET has worked with various international organisations to support these causes and plans to continue its efforts in South Africa.

“We launched our FinGreen financial literacy programme to empower women and youth in Sub-Saharan Africa. The trainings aim to develop healthy financial habits through education and training in the most vulnerable communities, whilst giving them the knowledge to become credible financial ambassadors amongst their peers. Our pilot programme in Nigeria has trained over 600 youths across Ikeja, Ikorodu, Ogun, and Oyo. We plan to expand the programme across other countries this year.”

The QNET South Africa expansion marks an exciting new chapter in our mission to empower communities worldwide. Through our products and entrepreneurship opportunities, we hope to uplift the local economy and benefit vulnerable groups who face systemic and social challenges when job hunting, such as youth and women. Join us in celebrating this incredible new milestone!
